Grinding upgrades instead of fighting

There's no shortage of "war strategies", but there's nothing to actually command: instead of leading your army into battle, you spend weeks leveling it up and waiting on build timers. You just want to mass tanks and aircraft and attack right now — not watch an upgrade bar crawl across the screen.

An army under your command

There aren't a hundred units in the game, but each has a job. The Marine holds the front. The Tank unfolds into the N.A.T.A.S.H.A. multiple rocket launcher and levels buildings. The fast Lynx mows down infantry with area bursts. The Titan is a walking fortress with homing missiles. The Helicopter is a flying tank, the Hawk is a fast fighter and the best scout in the game. The Balloon drops troops behind enemy lines, and the Wave stuns whole squads for a couple of seconds. Each has strengths and weaknesses, so the winner isn't the biggest army but the most skilled commander.

A real-time war strategy, not a farm

Here you don't spend weeks hoarding resources and waiting on build timers. Everything happens at once: in the first minute you're already making decisions, by the third you have an army, and by the tenth the decisive battles are on. Every match starts from a clean slate — like a game of chess, only with tanks.

Tactics decide it

Scouting, fog of war, tech choices, attack timing. You can out-economy them, rush them, or turtle behind turrets, grind the enemy down in a siege and counterattack. The maps are made by players in the editor, and all of them are built so nobody has an edge at the start.

Against real commanders

Ranked battles, leagues, and seasons: you start at the bottom, win, and climb. Any battle can be replayed — your own and others', including the matches of the strongest players.
